Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the Texas Medical Board.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• At least 6 months of respiratory care experience.
• NICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutics including oxygen administration and weaning.
• Administer aerosol and humidity therapy and bronchial hygiene.
• Provide airway maintenance and CPR; manage mechanical ventilation.
• Perform ABG, pulse oximetry and PFT studies and review patient data.
• Interpret CXRs, ABGs and PFTs; document assessments and care plans.
