Job summary

Responsibilities include respiratory therapy and diagnostics, with emphasis on assessment and documentation of care for varied patient populations. Required NBRC RRT, state license, BLS/ACLS/PALS or required within set windows; NRP encouraged.

Qualifications

• Current State RCP license required.
• Current NBRC RRT certification or within 3 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification on hire, maintained.
• ACLS certification on hire, maintained.
• PALS certification on hire or within 60 days.
• NRP certification on hire or within 60 days.
• Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science preferred.
• Two years acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy and pulmonary diagnostics as ordered.
• Assess, plan, implement and document care; consider patient age groups.
• Lead RCP duties may be assigned during shift.
