Job summary

Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi, TX seeks a staff Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for night shifts to provide comprehensive respiratory care. You will assemble equipment, administer therapies, monitor patients, and respond to emergencies while supporting training and quality improvement initiatives.

The role requires an AAS in Respiratory Therapy, Texas licensure, and NBRC credentials with preferred pediatric experience. Eligible for sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or graduate from an accredited program.
• License to practice Respiratory Care in Texas (TMB).
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credentialed by NBRC preferred; experience noted.

Responsibilities

• Assemble respiratory therapy equipment prior to patient use.
• Set up and monitor respiratory support systems and administer therapies.
• Monitor patient pulmonary condition and report findings.
• Respond to emergencies and assist CPR and patient transports.
• Assist with training of new employees and participate in quality improvement.
• Perform bedside intubations under supervision and assist in high-risk deliveries.
