Job summary

Arkansas Children's Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Care Professional for the Night Shift in the CC094011 Respiratory department. This full-time role supports diagnosis, treatment, and management of pulmonary disorders with emphasis on safe patient care.

Requirements include an Associate Degree or equivalent experience, LRCP and RRT licensure, with advanced certifications encouraged. A $10K sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates, with opportunities to participate in performance

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience required.
• LRCP license and RRT registration required.
• ACCS, AE-C, CPFT, NPS, RPFT, SDS certifications recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and effective patient care addressing age-specific needs.
• Communicates care plans with the team.
• Recognizes emergencies and intervenes appropriately.
• Assists in diagnosis, treatment and management of pulmonary disorders.
• Updates care plans based on patient progress.
• Collects and analyzes sputum, blood, and breath specimens; measures lung capacity.
• Participates in performance improvement and research activities.
• Maintains stock and equipment; assists with cost management.
• Participates in committees and hospital expansion projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
