Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Clinical Decisions Unit. You will plan, deliver and manage direct patient care using the nursing process, ensuring adherence to standards and collaborating with the care team.

The role requires Massachusetts nursing licensure, BLS (ACLS if current), and usually a BSN preferred. Night shift hours from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with every other weekend and holiday, and a potential $6,000 sign-on bonus for external hires.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN unless ACLS certification is current.
• ACLS certification current is preferred/required depending on unit.
• BSN highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process from admission to discharge.
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient education.
• Document care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in quality improvement and governance activities.
