Job summary

Huntsville Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the night shift to provide high-quality care in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting. You will collaborate with physicians, therapists, CNAs, and other team members to monitor residents, administer medications, and respond to changes in condition.

Active RN license required; new grads encouraged to apply. BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS a plus.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.
• Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Strong understanding of clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
• BLS/CPR certification required (ACLS a plus).

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care as a key member of the RN team.
• Monitor resident conditions, perform assessments, and document changes accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Educate residents and families regarding care plans and health conditions.
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in the electronic medical record system.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for residents.
• Supervise and support CNAs and other direct care staff.
