Job summary

UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver nursing care using the AACN Synergy Model, coordinating with physicians, therapists and patients’ families.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, an Alabama RN license, and BLS certification; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on unit. This full-time, night-shift position offers a pay range of $30.00–$48.00 per hour and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license by Alabama Board of Nursing required or eligible.
• BLS certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS and/or PALS may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care using AACN Synergy Model.
• Delegate, coordinate and manage all aspects of nursing care.
• Collaborate with patient, family and health care team under licensed physician or psychologist.
