Job summary

UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care during PM shifts (8 p.m.–8 a.m.). You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, while collaborating with physicians and the health team to promote health and comfort.

Licensed or eligible RN in Alabama required, BLS certification, ACLS/PALS may be required depending on unit. This role offers a pay range of $30.00 to $48.00 per hour, full-time hours and a robust

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program required. Bachelor1s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as an RN by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide care and counseling.
• Deliver health teaching, counseling, and restorative care.
• Coordinate and manage all aspects of nursing care with the healthcare team and physician(s).
• Collaborate with patient and family to deliver timely and cost-effective care.
