Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Night shift at our Altamonte Springs facility. Join a supportive, faith-based team focused on coordinated, patient-centered care and professional growth.

You will work with providers, case management and therapy teams to deliver high-quality outcomes, with on-unit Nursing Practice Development support and a team ratio of 5-6 nurses per patient. Night shifts: 7:00 pm - 7:00 am, weekends rotation.

Qualifications

Associate of Science degree in Nursing.
Current State of Florida or Multistate licensure as a Registered Nurse.
Minimum of six (6) months prior Registered Nurse experience.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans and periodically evaluate outcomes.
Administer medications and treatments per orders, monitoring for adverse reactions.
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
Collaborate with medical staff and support departments to coordinate care.
Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
