Job summary
AdventHealth Altamonte Springs is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a night shift in our Altamonte Springs facility. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families to promote understanding and adherence.
Located just north of Orlando, this 393-bed campus consistently serves a wide community with top-tier nursing staff and resources.
Qualifications
- RN licensure and active license in Florida or eligibility
- Experience in acute hospital setting preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments across patient factors to inform care plans
- Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed
- Administer medications and treatments per orders and protocols
- Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care
