Job summary

AdventHealth in Altamonte Springs, FL is hiring a Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts (7:00 pm – 7:00 am) with weekend rotation. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, educate patients, and coordinate with the care team.

The role requires an ASN in Nursing, Florida RN license, BLS, and at least 6 months of RN experience; benefits start day one include medical/dental/vision, PTO, retirement plan, parental leave, and wellbeing resources.

Qualifications

Requires Nursing degree and active RN license in Florida or multi-state license.
BLS certification is required.
Minimum 6 months RN experience required.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physical, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans and evaluate them regularly.
Administer medications and treatments per orders and monitor for adverse reactions.
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
