Job summary

Redfield Community Memorial Hospital and Clinic seeks a qualified Registered Nurse for a Charge Nurse role on the night shift. You will lead the unit, mentor staff, and coordinate patient care and staffing on a shift-by-shift basis.

You will ensure adherence to nursing standards, contribute to care planning, and communicate with physicians, families, and care teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing.
• Current license to practice in the state of South Dakota.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP and TNCC certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff workflow on the unit and supervise on a shift basis.
• Mentor nursing personnel and ensure care planning and quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, families and discharge planning teams.
• Maintain clinical competency and uphold CMH policies and standards.
