Job summary

Community Rehab West Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Charge Nurse Registered Nurse (RN) to join the night shift team. This full-time role supports 36-hour weeks with two 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

The RN will provide direct patient care, lead nursing staff, and ensure safe, compliant operations. Qualifications include a BSN/ADN/Diploma and current RN licensure; CPR/BCLS is required with ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN, ADN, or Nursing Diploma program.
• Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.
• CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• CRRN certification preferred or obtained within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Assist with staffing plans and manage nursing hours per patient day.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and nursing scope of practice.
• Lead monthly staff meetings and communicate with management and leadership.
• Assist with budget development for the nursing department and manage costs.
• Promote rehabilitation nursing philosophy and staff development.
