Job summary

Garden City Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shift in a state-of-the-art medical facility with over 300 licensed beds. You will deliver safe patient care, perform the nursing process, and guide patient/family teaching while coordinating with physicians.

The role emphasizes compassion, quality care, and community service. The position requires an active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and preferred BSN.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Direct patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care.
• Communicate with physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including monitoring and diagnostic results.
