Job summary

Garden City Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night shift in Telemetry and the Emergency Department. You will deliver direct patient care, coordinate with physicians, and guide patient/family teaching in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license valid and active.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS/ENPC certificates required or within stated timelines.
• Minimum 1 year ER/acute care experience; ED experience preferred.
• CEN and BSN are preferred qualifications.
• NRP certification within 180 days of hire; TNNC within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in Telemetry and ED.
• Communicate patient changes and test results with physicians and teams.
• Educate patient and family and supervise nursing staff under supervision.
