Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in Ohio.
• BSN or ADN with plan to obtain BSN within 5 years.
• Current CPR certification; willing to obtain NRP, PALS, ACLS, APHON or other unit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
• Assesses patient needs and communicates care priorities to LPNs, PCAs, unit staff.
• Plans, implements, educates and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices.
• Utilizes Therapeutic Communication while monitoring patient and family needs.
• Engages in workplace quality improvement and reports updates to staff.
• Documents according to organizational standards and procedures.
