Job summary

Nationwide-Children is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 0.9 FTE night shift (7p–7a) position in Columbus, OH, including weekends and holidays. This role emphasizes safe, rapid patient movement through the episode of care with a focus on family-centered care and advocacy.

Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, coordinating with LPNs and PCAs, planning and evaluating care using evidence-based practices, documenting per standards, and contributing to quality improvement.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Licensed RN in Ohio.
• Current CPR certification; willing to obtain NRP, PALS, ACLS or related certifications as directed.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and communicates care priorities to the team.
• Plans, implements, educates, and evaluates care using evidence-based practices.
• Documents per organizational standards and participates in quality improvement.
