Job summary

ECU Health is seeking a registered nurse to provide and coordinate comprehensive nursing care. You will collect assessment data, develop and modify the plan of care in collaboration with patients and families, and work with an interdisciplinary team to achieve outcomes.

Responsibilities include implementing care plans, evaluating patient progress, and ensuring age-appropriate care. The role emphasizes collaboration, delegation within policy, and adherence to nursing standards.

Qualifications

• Current NC RN license or licensure to practice in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state is required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate nursing care, including data collection, assessment, outcome planning, and collaboration with patient/family and interdisciplinary team.
• Identify interventions, implement care plans, and evaluate progress while considering age-specific needs.
• Collaborate with care team to meet patient/family needs and delegate tasks as appropriate under NC Nurse Practice Act.
