Job summary

ECU Health Beaufort Hospital in Washington, NC seeks a registered nurse for a full-time night shift (7pm–7am) on a 3 East Medical Unit with rotating weekends/holidays. The role requires NC RN licensure, a nursing degree, and ACLS/BLS certification.

The position emphasizes evidence-based nursing care, family-centered planning, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team. Compensation will reflect experience and include a $30K commitment incentive.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing or higher (Associates or Bachelor’s).
• ACLS/BLS required.
• Current NC RN license or licensure in NC or a Nurse Licensure Compact state.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and coordinate data collection, assessment, and plan of care with patient/family and interdisciplinary team.
• Identify interventions to meet outcomes, implement, and document progress with sensitivity to age-specific needs.
• Promote effective team functioning and delegate tasks under NC Nurse Practice Act.
• Collaborate with care team to meet patient/family needs throughout the episode of care.
