Phoenix House Orange County, Inc. is seeking an Overnight Recovery Support Specialist to supervise patients and assist with delivering services in a safe, therapeutic setting.

The RSS role requires relevant certifications or credential recognition, a high school diploma, and ability to work the night shift Tuesday through Saturday. The position emphasizes adherence to program policies and collaboration with healthcare and administrative staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; RSS I requires AOD Counselor registration with DHCS.
• RSS II requires high school diploma and DHCS-certified AOD Counselor.
• Preferred six months experience in related field.
• Valid California driver's license with proper insurance and clean driving record.

Responsabilités

• Provides patient supervision in a safe, therapeutic setting.
• Uses appropriate treatment model with patients; conducts interventions and provides support.
• Observes and documents patient information; ensures cross-department communication.
• Ensures adherence to the day-to-day program schedule.
• Maintains documentation in electronic health records and staff logs.
• Transports patients to off-site appointments safely.
• Conducts patient checks and counts.
• Performs facility safety checks and searches.
• Conducts urine testing and reports results.
• Attends trainings and meetings per Phoenix House policy.
• Supports mission and values; leads shift as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
