Job summary

Phoenix House Orange County, Inc. in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Recovery Support Specialist for the PM shift. You will supervise patients, support treatment delivery, and uphold safety and program policies in a residential setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma with AOD counselor registration or certification per DHCS, and a valid California driver’s license. On-site, full-time position with PM hours from Thursday to Monday, 2:30pm–11:00pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; register as AOD Counselor per DHCS.
• RSS II requires high school diploma and DHCS counselor certification.
• Preferred six months related experience.
• Must have CA driver’s license, insurance, and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient supervision in a safe, therapeutic setting.
• Promotes appropriate treatment model with all patients; conducts interventions and provides support.
• Observes and documents patient information and maintains communication across departments.
• Ensures patients follow the day-to-day program schedule.
• Maintains documentation in electronic health records, logs, charts, and forms.
