Job summary

Buffalo Rock Company seeks a Forklift Operator (Receiving) for the Central Hub in Birmingham, AL. The role focuses on accurate receipt and shipment of products, moving items safely to correct locations, and supporting efficient warehouse flow.

The operator will cross-train, operate stand-up or sit-down forklifts, perform pre-trip inspections, and utilize RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems to process transactions. This is a non-exempt, full-time position with varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Warehouse experience required.
• Must pass forklift certification.
• RF scanner experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts (stand-up and sit-down) safely to move products.
• Verify inbound products against BOL, quantities, and expiration dates.
• Unload/deload from vendors and replenish loads with accuracy.
• Move products to backstock and picking locations using ERP/WMS.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and report equipment issues.
