Job summary

Buffalo Rock, a longtime Birmingham-based Pepsi and Keurig Dr Pepper bottler, seeks a Forklift Operator (Receiving) for the Central Hub. The role handles receipt and shipment of products, moving them safely to correct locations, and cross-training with other operators.

The position requires working Mon-Fri 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM, normal warehouse duties, and strict adherence to safety, GMPs, and SOPs within the Central Hub.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of experience in warehouse environment.
• Must have at least one year of experience operating a forklift.
• Must be able to pass forklift certification.
• Must be able to read product packaging and communicate in English via radio.
• Ability to perform basic math and use Warehouse Management Systems.
• Ability to learn how and successfully operate Tenant Scrubber.

Responsibilities

• Operate different types of forklifts including stand-up and sit-down.
• Unload products from outside vendors and replenish loads with inspection.
• Verify inbound products match BOL and expiration dates.
• Move products to backstock and picking locations per SOPs.
• Rotate stock using FEFO method and document in the WMS.
• Follow GMPs and SOPs and participate in safety trainings.
