Job summary

Schnellecke Logistics USA in Alabama is seeking a Forklift Operator for the 3rd shift to move and load materials safely in our warehouse and loading dock areas.

You will perform pre-shift checks, operate sit-down forklifts, scan inventory with RF devices, and help maintain accurate stock while complying with safety standards. Hours are 10:00 pm - 6:00 am, with opportunities for training and growth within a global logistics provider.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience operating sit-down forklifts
• Ability to obtain powered industrial equipment certification
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to pass a drug screening

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials between dock, staging, and storage areas
• Perform daily pre-shift inspections and ensure equipment is in safe working condition
• Load and unload trailers while maintaining product integrity and proper weight distribution
• Accurately scan and track inventory movements using RF scanners or manual systems
• Ensure materials are properly staged and stored according to operational requirements
• Follow all safety standards, operating procedures, and company policies
