Job summary

Arhaus in Kentucky is seeking dedicated team members for our distribution center. The Equipment Operator will operate reach truck/high-level picker, move and count merchandise, and ensure accuracy in staging and shipping.

The night shift runs Monday to Thursday, 5:30 PM to 4:00 AM. Candidates should lift up to 150 lbs, have 1–2 years of order picker experience, and be comfortable working at heights up to 35 ft while following safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 150lbs with or without accommodations.
• High school diploma/GED.
• 1–2 years of experience operating an order picker, cherry picker, reach truck, sit-down tow motor, or rider pallet jack.
• Ability to operate equipment at a height of 35 ft.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Working knowledge of computer programs.
• Understanding of general work practices in distribution and warehousing, including order picking, packing, and shipping/receiving processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Pick and put away - Operate power mobile material handling equipment (cherry picker/reach truck/high-level picker)
• Use RF gun to select orders and put away product based on system directed order types
• Retrieve all items for delivery / picking and staging inventory accurately in assigned areas
• Inventory - Maintain inventory accuracy levels by moving all product via RF transactions
• Package - Responsible for the integrity of the merchandise in movement from rack to dock damage free
• Safety- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner based on company safety standards
