Job summary

New Weds Foods is seeking a Rack Unloader for the 3rd shift (11:00pm - 7:00am). The role involves unloading bread from racks, placing items on conveyor belts, and keeping racks in correct order while maintaining product integrity.

Strong communication and basic math are needed, plus the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The job is conducted in production areas with aromas and machinery, and adherence to safety policies is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge about manufacturing food preferred.
• Able to communicate well, both verbal and written, with good mathematical skills.
• Able to lift 50 lbs continuously.

Responsibilities

• Unload bread from rack and place it onto the conveyor belt.
• Frequent pushing/pulling of full racks into their correct order.
• Keep up with rack labels and ensure product doesn't get out of order.
• Must maintain integrity of product.
• Ensure batch numbers and product code on the labels match.
• Return any unused label back to the supervisor so that it can be recorded.
• Detect any malfunction and report it to the supervisor.
• Comply with all safety requirements and company policies.
• Report all shortage to the lead operator.
• Clean work area as required.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
