Job summary

Newly Weds Foods is seeking a Manufacturing - Third Shift team member to support end-of-line packaging goals by stacking product and rotating to other pack-line positions as needed.

You'll verify labels and batches, apply labels, lift bags up to 55 lbs, assist in bagging and dumping up to 100 lbs, complete paperwork, and uphold GMP and safety rules in a warehouse environment. This role demands reliability and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year packaging experience within a food manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate standup forklift and load move system.

Responsibilities

• Verifies product being bagged against labels being printed.
• Verifies batch with Supervisor as needed.
• Affixes labels to bags and stacks them onto pallet while maintaining packaging standards.
• Continuous pulling / lifting and carrying of bags weighing up to 55 lbs.
• Assist in bagging of product as needed; pushing/pulling up to 55+ lbs; maintains packaging standards.
• Assist in dumping of product as needed; pushing/pulling up to 100+ lbs.
• Completes paperwork as needed; maintains integrity of product.
• Assist in inventory and cycle counts; keep area and equipment clean; follow LOTO procedures.
• Follow good manufacturing practices and safety rules.
