Job summary

You will adhere to GMPs, perform sampling, verify packaging, and work with Production, Distribution, Sanitation, Maintenance, and Quality to maintain product quality and safety. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and 1+ years in food manufacturing or quality assurance; strong teamwork and problem-solving

Qualifications

• GMPs experience and knowledge are required.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to safe work practices, follows GMPs and maintains sanitary conditions.
• Participates in daily shift huddles and handoffs.
• Collects in-process and finished-product samples for quality checks.
• Verifies packaging, labeling, weights, and temperature to specifications.
• Inspects incoming ingredients for quality and safety.
• Assists in drafting and maintaining standard operating procedures.
• Communicates quality issues across departments and supports corrective actions.
• Participates in plant quality audits and inspections.
