Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join our New Albany, Ohio QA team. You will drive on-the-floor testing, line clearances, and AQL inspections to ensure products meet regulatory and company standards.

The role requires a BS in a related field and 1–3 years QA experience, with a Pharmacy Technician license or plan to obtain. The position supports cGMP practices and USP compliance while reporting to the Quality Control Manager.

Qualifications

• B.S. in chemistry, microbiology, biology, quality management, engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
• 1–3 years experience in QA/QA, process/quality engineering, or product formulation.
• Pharmacy Technician license or willingness to obtain within six months (company covering costs).
• Experience in a 503b outsourcing facility or regulated environment (FDA 21 CFR 210/211) a plus.
• Aseptic processing knowledge and ISO 14644 familiarity.
• Knowledge of USP-NF standards (795/797/800) including monographs.
• Strong multitasking, time management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and technical writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and post-production quality checks and testing on shop floor materials.
• Conduct line clearance and visual inspection AQLs as applicable.
• Provide reports and trending data to QA management.
• Support investigations and non-conformance handling with other departments.
• Assist with supplier qualification and raw material inspections as needed.
• Assist in drafting SOPs and protocols aligned with USP and regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with USP <795>, <797>, <800> and cGMP cleaning standards.
• Support audits and management of samples for contract labs.
