Job summary

Certified Collectibles Group is seeking a Quality Control Specialist for CGC Cards in Sarasota, FL. The role is on-site, full-time with a 6:00 pm - 2:30 am schedule, offering a $19.00 hourly rate plus a 10% shift differential and a $1,000 sign-on bonus for eligible hires who start by 31 August 2026.

The candidate will print and inspect labels, ensure accuracy of descriptions and grades, and work in a fast-paced production environment while upholding quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in a production, manufacturing, quality control, printing, or other detail-oriented environment.
• Experience performing repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience in productivity- or target-driven roles with measurable performance expectations.
• Comfort using computers, scanners, and software applications to process work orders.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors, inconsistencies, and defects.
• Ability to follow established procedures and maintain quality standards.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Collectibles knowledge, including sports cards or non-sports cards, preferred.
• Previous experience in label printing or manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Print label orders using specialized printing equipment and software systems.
• Operate automated cutting machines to prepare labels according to production specifications.
• Review printed labels to verify accuracy of item descriptions, grades, certification information, and other order details.
• Inspect labels for print quality issues such as smudges, streaks, misalignment, incorrect colors, missing information, or other defects.
• Verify that labels are printed on the correct stock and materials based on order requirements.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy and consistency while processing repetitive production tasks.
• Meet daily productivity, quality, and turnaround goals within a fast-paced production environment.
• Identify, document, and communicate quality concerns or production issues to supervisors.
• Utilize computer systems, scanners, and internal software to retrieve orders and process production work.
• Follow established quality control procedures and company standards throughout the production process.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of production objectives.
