Job summary

Sherwin-Williams Co. is seeking a quality control technician responsible for maintaining QA processes, performing product tests, and analyzing results to ensure our coatings meet specifications.

The role involves testing batches, interpreting data, and advising production on adjustments to optimize quality. The position operates on the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00pm-10:30pm) with eligibility for bonus based on performance as per company plans.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality control processes and test products to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
• Test production batches according to written testing methods and identify in-spec and out-of-spec data.
• Record and analyze results to verify customer requirements are met or exceeded.
• Interpret data and historical results to recommend batch adjustments to production personnel.
• Provide guidance to production on adjustments needed to batches.

Job description

This position is responsible for maintaining quality control processes, testing products, and recording and analyzing results gathered to ensure Sherwin products meet quality specifications. This position is responsible for testing production batches according to specific written testing methods and identifying issues with both in-spec and out-of-spec data. The technician will interpret results and historical data to ensure the product meets or exceeds the customer requirements for quality, as well as provide instructions to production personnel regarding adjustments to batches as needed.

Additional Information:

Schedule: 2nd Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm to 10:30pm

This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans.
