G&W Electric is seeking a Quality Control Inspector I for the 3rd shift (10:00pm - 6:30am) in Illinois to inspect component parts and finished products for conformance to process controls using basic inspection tools.

You will read drawings, use calipers/micrometers, and participate in audits and corrective actions to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. A HS diploma and 1–3 years in manufacturing are preferred.

Competenze

• Reading drawings, schematics, BOMs, wiring and ladder diagrams.
• Basic MS Word and Excel; ERP experience desirable.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform final inspection on switches and part orders.
• Train production personnel in process-control methods.
• Conduct internal process audits and report findings.
• Shut down non-conforming processes after notifying supervisor.
• Inspect all work before passing to next operation.
• Document actions by completing quality forms.
