G&W Electric Co. is seeking an Electrical Tester I for night shift in Illinois. The role involves repetitive electrical testing preparation and basic testing tasks with attention to conformance, safety, and documentation.

You will inspect test booths, prepare products for testing, and ensure final checks meet requirements before advancing. A High School diploma or GED and 0–1 year in manufacturing are preferred; basic reading and English comprehension are necessary.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED and up to 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Able to safely use small hand and power tools.
• Ability to read drawings and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Basic computer skills and ability to understand English instructions.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect products before testing for conformance.
• Inspect testing equipment and booth for proper operation.
• Prepare product for test by making required electrical connections.
• Document actions on production and quality forms.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment in line with procedures and regulations.
• Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
• Train others in testing tasks as needed.
• Ensure all work meets requirements before passing to next operation.
