Job summary

Conagra Brands in Wisconsin is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to support plant quality programs by auditing processes, reviewing documentation, and verifying that in-process materials, finished products, ingredients, and manufacturing supplies meet established standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree or certs preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in quality or food manufacturing environment.
• Experience with quality systems in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and basic microbiological concepts preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications: Outlook, Teams, Excel and Word.
• Strong math skills and ability to interpret specifications and data.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits of in-process materials, finished goods, ingredients, and manufacturing supplies to ensure compliance with product specifications and food safety standards
• Review product specifications and compare them to production documentation, including certificate of analysis documentation
• Identify and communicate non-conforming conditions, including out-of-specification or out-of-code situations, to production and supervision
• Support investigations into quality deviations and help identify root causes and corrective actions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including quality records, deviation reports, and weekly and monthly summaries
• Input and maintain data in systems to ensure permanent and traceable quality records
• Verify accuracy of data and documentation prior to escalating concerns
• Support production teams in resolving quality issues, including auditing operator practices and verifying adherence to procedures
• Participate in internal audits and support compliance with quality systems and food safety programs
• Perform additional assignments and projects as needed to support plant quality objectives
