Job summary

Pilgrim in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Quality Assurance & Food Safety technician to support on-site QA and compliance programs. You will collect samples on production floors, submit tests to vendors, and assist with investigations under the supervision of QA/FS leadership.

You’ll monitor SOPs, SSOPs, GMPs and HACCP practices, ensure USDA and facility regulations are followed, perform checks, maintain equipment, and handle data entry and reporting.

Qualifications

• Must be self-motivated, trustworthy, and capable of completing all work assignments with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Able to work 2nd shift when needed and work Saturdays as required.

Responsibilities

• Walk production floors to collect samples.
• Submit samples to 3rd party vendors.
• Perform Drug residue testing.
• Assist QA/FS Supervisor and management in investigations.
• Audit, document and enforce USDA and facility regulations.
• Monitor SOPs, SSOPs, GMPs and HACCP for compliance.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Maintain lab equipment with proper cleaning and maintenance.
• Data entry and data management.
