Job summary

MLK Community Healthcare seeks a Public Safety Lead Officer for nights. You will lead the Public Safety Department in the absence of the Shift Supervisor, perform patrols, respond to incidents, and manage access control and CCTV.

Qualifications

• CA guard card required.
• POST 40-hour course completed or equivalent.
• IAHSS Basic certification required.
• AVADE certification within 30 days of hire.
• 2–5 years of healthcare Public Safety experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift in the absence of the supervisor.
• Conduct patrols to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Provide timely responses to calls for service and document all actions.
• Oversee access control and CCTV monitoring and reporting.
• Prepare incident reports and daily logs.
• Train new hires in safety procedures and department policy.
