Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Prior security, military, law enforcement experience preferred.
• Complete Atrium Health training within 90 days of hire (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention/De-escalation, defensive tactics).
• Must communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• POS T certification and driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Patrols assigned jurisdiction and documents patrols per procedures.
• Responds to calls for assistance and completes incident reports.
• Intervenes when unruly or dangerous individuals are encountered.
• Coordinates with community police and documents investigations.
• Maintains training and certification as required by Georgia law enforcement standards.
• Patrols and secures hospital areas including Emergency Center and access control.
