Job summary

The Nurse Supervisor at El Paso Behavioral Health System, a part of Universal Health Services, Inc., leads nursing clinical operations and coordinates the nursing team to deliver high-quality psychiatric care. You will ensure adherence to standards and supervise staff development under the Chief Nursing Officer's direction.

Required are a graduate nursing degree, Texas licensure, 2–4 years in psychiatric nursing with leadership experience, plus CPR and Handle With Care training.

Qualifications

• Educational requirement: Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• licensure: Texas State Board of Nursing
• Experience: 2–4 years in psychiatric nursing including Charge Nurse/supervisor roles
• CPR certification required, handle with care training during orientation

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and coordination of all nursing personnel
• Ensure quality nursing care using the nursing process per Texas Nurse Practice Act
• Develop, coordinate and implement clinical activities and staff development
