Job summary

Accelera in West Point, GA is seeking a Production Team Lead to oversee assembly and manufacturing tasks. You will guide production staff, manage daily workflows, conduct training, and troubleshoot operational challenges while ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will foster a high-performing, safe, and quality-driven workplace culture and drive improvements including MES usage and adherence to ISO quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of experience in a production/manufacturing setting.
• Prior experience in assembly is mandatory.
• Experience supervising, mentoring, or directing production personnel.
• Strong communication, coaching, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Overtime flexibility as dictated by production needs.
• Fundamental computer proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Offer consistent guidance and supervision to production staff.
• Oversee daily manufacturing tasks to ensure smooth, efficient workflow.
• Facilitate training sessions for new and current staff; maintain training records.
• Ensure personnel are prepared to execute their duties.
• Help the department reach safety, quality, cost, and delivery benchmarks.
• Identify bottlenecks and collaborate on effective solutions.
• Suggest improvements to production methods and workflows.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety protocols and quality standards.
• Foster collaboration and a safe, accountable work environment.
• Assist Operations Manager with personnel concerns and performance.
