Accelera in West Point, GA is seeking a Production Team Lead to oversee assembly and manufacturing tasks. You will guide production staff, manage daily workflows, conduct training, and troubleshoot operational challenges while ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will foster a high-performing, safe, and quality-driven workplace culture and drive improvements including MES usage and adherence to ISO quality standards.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
3–5 years of experience in a production/manufacturing setting.
Prior experience in assembly is mandatory.
Experience supervising, mentoring, or directing production personnel.
Strong communication, coaching, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Overtime flexibility as dictated by production needs.
Fundamental computer proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

Offer consistent guidance and supervision to production staff.
Oversee daily manufacturing tasks to ensure smooth, efficient workflow.
Facilitate training sessions for new and current staff; maintain training records.
Ensure personnel are prepared to execute their duties.

In this active leadership role, you will guide production staff, manage daily workflows, conduct training, troubleshoot operational challenges, and ensure the team meets critical objectives regarding safety, quality, efficiency, and delivery. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in fostering a high-performing, safe, and quality-driven workplace culture.

Work alongside the Operations Manager to address personnel concerns, resolve conflicts, and manage performance.

Support compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Between 3 and 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing setting.
Prior experience in assembly is mandatory.
Background in supervising, mentoring, or directing production personnel.
Strong capabilities in communication, coaching, problem-solving, and organization.
Flexibility to work overtime hours as dictated by production needs.
Fundamental computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in a role such as Production Lead, Assembly Lead, or similar manufacturing leadership positions.
Experience utilizing a Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
Familiarity with operating under IATF 16949, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001 frameworks.
Associate degree or relevant technical certifications.

Physical Demands

This role requires physical activity within a manufacturing environment. You must be capable of standing or walking for the duration of your shift, with occasional needs to bend, stoop, or squat. You will be required to lift and carry up to 30 lbs., push or pull up to 50 lbs., and assist in moving production materials or carts as needed. Most areas of the facility are climate-controlled.
