Job summary

The Hershey Company is seeking a Night Shift Team Lead Production at the Bluffton plant. Lead a team of subject matter experts in daily manufacturing operations, translate goals into priorities, and drive safe, high-quality output.

You will coordinate production, mentor staff, and ensure adherence to SOPs and safety standards. Requires 3+ years in manufacturing or similar high-speed environments, a high school diploma or GED, and strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or high-speed operations.
• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching and communication skills; ability to interpret production data.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production activities and assign work to maintain safe, efficient production flow in the area.
• Communicate shift priorities, monitor progress and address issues affecting throughput, quality, cost, or safety.
• Provide day-to-day direction, scheduling, coaching, and process guidance to SME and technical staff.
• Enforce SOPs and ensure compliance with food quality, safety, environmental, and plant requirements.
• Coordinate with maintenance and other departments; document and follow up on maintenance requests in SAP PM.
• Verify employees are qualified, trained, and prepared to perform work productively.
• Support staffing decisions and verify employee time records.
• Enter and review operational data in SAP; review quality documentation and performance reports.
• Resolve routine operational issues using data and best practices.
• Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities and taking practical actions.
