Job summary

The Hershey Company in Whitestown, IN is seeking a Night Shift Production Supervisor to lead frontline manufacturing teams, ensuring safety, quality, and efficient plant performance.

You will coach hourly staff, coordinate daily production activities, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining Hershey’s standards. 3+ years in manufacturing leadership and SAP experience preferred; a Bachelor's degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing, operations, or production leadership in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Experience driving safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives preferred.
• Supervisory and food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach hourly production employees to achieve daily safety, quality, service, and cost objectives.
• Coordinate daily production activities, staffing, priorities, and cross-functional support to ensure smooth operations across shifts.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, environmental, and employee safety standards.
• Analyze operational performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions that enhance productivity and reliability.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other plant functions to resolve operational issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage administrative activities including production reporting, labor planning, documentation, and SAP-related processes.
• Foster employee engagement and development through effective communication, coaching, and performance management.
