Job summary

Ideal Setech, LLC is seeking a Production Support Representative in Burton, MI to monitor production lines, log downtime data, and coordinate with maintenance overnight. You will be the first point of contact when machines stop and help minimize downtime through rapid information flow.

The role requires cross-training as a Crib Attendant to locate and disburse parts, with nightly Sunday–Thursday hours and training in systems like MS Office, SharePoint, and Maximo.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent training with 2–3 years related experience
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Windows
• Client interface skills; knowledge of manufacturing, purchasing, materials and inventory management
• Read and interpret operating and planning documents, forms, requisitions, safety rules, operating and procedure manuals

Responsibilities

• Operate required systems (MS Office, SharePoint, Maximo) with training provided.
• First point of contact for machine downtime and operator when production stops.
• Receive inbound radio calls and log critical information accurately.
• Place outbound radio calls to relay downtime status and coordinate with Maintenance.
• Follow up with Maintenance to gather root cause and countermeasure information.
• Maintain crib inventory and assist customers locating parts.
• Work with urgency and perform other duties as required.
