Job summary

Ideal Setech, LLC is seeking a Production Support Representative in Burton, MI to act as the first point of contact when production machinery is down. You will gather critical data, dispatch personnel, and help minimize downtime in a manufacturing environment.

The role includes cross-training as a Crib Attendant to assist customers with locating and distributing parts, with overnight Sunday–Thursday shifts from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent training with 2–3 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate required systems (MS Office, SharePoint, Maximo) per procedures.
• Be the first point of contact when production stops, dispatching personnel.
• Enter critical information into the emergency work order system accurately.
• Relate machine down status to maintenance and coordinate dispatch.
• Collect root cause information and countermeasures with a proactive approach.
• Interpret data and Pareto charts in Power BI format when needed.
• Assist with Crib duties and inventory management as required.
• Perform additional tasks with urgency as needed.
