Job summary

Nesco Resource, LLC is seeking a production operator in St. Clair County, MI to monitor and adjust production line operations during the night shift.

You will sort parts, label boxes accurately, and prepare materials at shift start while ensuring clean and safe work areas and proper documentation of all production data. The role requires diligent quality checks, defect recording, and completing all paperwork, with responsibilities including equipment cleaning and relieving operators for breaks

Qualifications

• Safety procedures and PPE compliance.
• Accurate documentation of production data.
• Quality defect checking on multiple jobs.
• Ability to record defects and complete paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort parts when working in hold area.
• Keep boxes properly marked for good/defective/ sorted.
• Prepare boxes at the beginning of the shift.
• Remove old labels and clean returnables/containers.
• Relieve Operators for breaks as instructed by supervisor.
• Fully complete Production Reporting Sheet for each job ran.
• Check parts for quality defects on all jobs you are responsible for.
• Record all defects.
• Complete all required paperwork and check for errors.
• Responsible for cleaning presses during regular business hours or on weekends as needed.
