Job summary

Ohio Laser, Inc is seeking a 3rd shift Production Supervisor to oversee safety, quality and productivity in the production areas. The role focuses on developing and managing personnel, equipment and facilities to meet performance goals in a clean, modern metal fabrication shop in Plain City, Ohio.

The candidate will direct and coordinate activities, enforce safety standards, support continuous improvement, and participate in hiring.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree in Management or related field with supervisory experience
• Experience supervising 10+ people
• Ability to lead safety and quality initiatives
• Strong communication and interviewing skills

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate production activities to meet plant goals
• Enforce safety rules and standards
• Oversee supervisor of operators and maintenance
• Participate in interviewing and onboarding of new associates
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the facility
• Support continuous improvement projects and lean initiatives
• Report issues to Production Manager and HR
• Maintain regular attendance and dependable performance
