Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a steel or manufacturing environment
• Bachelor's or two- or four-year degree or equivalent experience
• Leadership/supervisory experience required
• ISO 9001:2015 experience preferred
• Formal safety training (OSHA 30 etc.) preferred
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise shop employees; plan work schedules including overtime.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback; manage salary discussions.
• Ensure safety procedures, JSA and PPE compliance; enforce guidelines.
• Coordinate with Planning/Scheduling to meet production and delivery targets.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean/Six Sigma techniques.
• Utilize Epicor and MES for reporting, time entry, and job tracking.
