Job summary

Dynamic Manufacturing is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the designated manufacturing area, ensuring safety, quality, cost, delivery and teamwork objectives under the direction of the Product Line Manager.

You will motivate team leaders, coordinate with maintenance and quality teams, drive 5S and lean initiatives, and develop staff through training to meet daily production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted.
• Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills.
• Ability to lead by example and create accountability.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to train other employees.
• Good command of English; Spanish bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coach safety, quality, productivity and on-time to production schedule to ensure customer objectives are met.
• Facilitate team communication and conflict resolution including team learning of process or interpersonal skills.
• Seeks resolution of team member concerns to create a supportive work environment.
• Communicates and enforces policies and procedures to meet goals.
• Monitors hourly associates and provides coaching or discipline as needed.
• Ensure 100% safety, housekeeping, material identification, and on-time delivery compliance.
• Work with Quality to identify corrective actions for defects.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering on bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Evaluate processes and suggest improvements for methods and equipment.
• Manage 5S and Lean initiatives; participate in continuous improvement events.
• Maintain cross-training matrix and provide training as needed.
• Monitor staffing levels to meet daily work requirements.
• Input for performance appraisals and compensation evaluations.
• Conduct safety observations to identify unsafe practices.
