Job summary

Saint-Gobain/CertainTeed is seeking a Production Supervisor for a 7pm-7am shift (4 nights on, 4 nights off) in Minnesota. You will lead production personnel, ensure safety and quality, and drive cost reduction while maintaining strong employee relations.

The role requires 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, a 4-year degree preferred, and proficiency with MS Office; Kronos and SAP familiarity a plus.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree preferred (equivalent experience may be considered).
• 3+ years of Supervisory experience (manufacturing environment preferred).
• Proficient in MS Office (familiarity with Kronos and SAP a plus).
• General understanding of ISO methodology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S & Six Sigma a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises hourly production employees on safe and efficient operation of production line equipment and processes.
• Monitors production processes and quality to ensure compliance with standards.
• Oversees training to ensure employees follow SOPs and work instructions.
• Leads shift safety meetings and training sessions; may assist in hiring decisions.
• Participates in root-cause analysis and implements corrective actions.
• Maintains 5S housekeeping and reviews Kronos timekeeping for correct wages.
