Job summary

Lowell is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee night shift activities across Machining, Quality, and Parts Finishing in a medical device facility. You will ensure schedules are met, quality and regulatory requirements are followed, and staff are engaged in a safe, efficient environment.

Leadership skills, CNC knowledge, and a strong Lean mindset are essential to drive continuous improvement, team development, and accurate production reporting aligned with dayshift leadership.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading or supervising machining operations, preferably in medical devices.
• Understanding CNC machining processes and quality practices.
• Familiarity with FDA and ISO 13485 regulatory environments preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership to motivate front-line teams.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP and production reporting tools.
• Commitment to Lean manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all associates across departments on night shift.
• Ensure production needs meet customer requirements and regulatory standards.
• Execute night shift priorities and schedules as directed by dayshift leadership.
• Monitor KPIs and escalate issues or variances to dayshift management.
• Maintain night shift production schedules, resource allocation, and workflow efficiency.
• Promote Lean initiatives and 5S within the facility.
• Ensure FDA/ISO 13485 compliance and a safe work environment.
